DAY 10: Power for Purpose
Scriptures:
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8 (NLT)
One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1–2 (NLT)
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NLT)
Reflection:
Power without purpose leads to pride. But Spirit-filled power always leads to service; to heal, to help, to bring hope. You’ve been empowered not just to survive, but to serve.
Personal Prayer:
Lord, help me to use the gifts You’ve given for Your glory. Let my life be a vessel of Your power and compassion.
Corporate Prayer Focus:
Pray that Liberty Church would operate in Spirit-led power; seeing lives transformed, families restored, and the community reached.
