Missions Trip
Spring Break 2023

First of all if you do not have your passport. You need to apply for one ASAP and make sure to get the expedited service.
In regards of some things to expect. We are going to be partnering with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Guatemala.
YWAM is a global missions movement with training, discipleship and ministry campuses all over the world. Their motto is “To Know God, and Make Him known”.
We will be joining them for their times of prayer, worship, intercession and what they call family night. This will allow us to get to know and connect with the missionaries that are there full time and get plugged into what God is speaking to them as a ministry and give us exposure to different expressions of these activities.
Ministry opportunities will be varied and include things like: children's ministry, ministering to the impoverished and under-privileged, evangelism, ministry to teens at risk, practical service projects.

As we get closer to our departure we will get together for quick prep meetings where we will teach you some children’s songs, and basic Spanish phrases as well as skills like: how to write and share your testimony, how to share the gospel with a non-believer and stuff like that.
If you don’t speak the language its not a hindrance I will translate as well as some of our contacts from the YWAM base.
Now for payments: we are planning to do installments $250.- will be due mid January.
$250.- Due mid February and
Remainder do before we fly out in march.
Your first deposit will be considered a yes to your commitment to go and we will go ahead and begin purchasing tickets.
If you end up backing out you will be responsible to pay off your airfare and all and any costs to change your flight.
